Not 50
Not 50 was my first album. As such, it is very near and dear to my heart. I recorded it on a four track cassette recorder. The quality is surprisingly good. I recorded 2 sides to the album: side one - Heavy Metal Kid and side two - Operating Room. Side one is electric, side two is acoustic.
Not 50 was my motto at turning 50 years old - I'm 25 with 25 years experience. I felt this was a good title for my first album since I felt like I had been practicing for this album for at least 25 years!

I wrote a poem for the inner cover. The poem pretty well sums things up for me at this time:
Fifty is nifty it must be said; my body feels good and so does my head.
I love music, playing guitar and singing in rhyme; I wish I could do this all of the time!
These songs are about things I have experienced in life; happy times, in between times, times with strife.
One more thing, from this day hence; I am "Not 50", I am 25 with 25 years experience!
